NOPI NATIONALS NEW JERSEY 2008

The NOPI Nationals came to the Raceway in Englishtown New Jersey this weekend for Saturday and Sunday. NOPI is the God Father of these types of events that take place more often in the South and out West. Rarely do they come to the New York City Area so this was my introduction to NOPI as opposed to the Hot Import Nights shows we covered 2006 and 2007. The weather Sunday turned out much better than the forecast predicted though Saturday was cold and gray. There were some interesting cars on the lot for the show like one which had Guitar Hero playing on it's inside roof and the Navy's drag racing school and dragster was there as well. The track had the drag racing strip and the lot had the stage. But the draw clearly the bikini contest and the models themselves. The bikini contest had 10 contestants on hand and the 2 host did a good job of presentation. To me the best girl of the show was the Cooper Tires model we have posted as the first model up top. She had a real pure smile throughout and when a boy she autographed and asked him if he would like to pose with her for a picture but he had nobody to take his picture so I took it for them. I saw how sweet she was to this quiet shy boy and wish more of the girls here were this genuine.
